Jatamashi

Jatamashi, also known as “Tapaswani” in Ayurveda, is a small, hairy, herbaceous perennial plant that is now considered endangered. It works as a natural brain tonic, helping to boost memory and support brain function by protecting brain cells from damage, thanks to its antioxidant properties.

Jatamansi also helps to calm the mind, and is useful in managing stress, anxiety, and insomnia.

In Ayurveda, it is known to help prevent wrinkles due to its oily (Snigdha) nature, and also supports faster wound healing because of its Ropan (healing) property.
