Kanasathahwadi Kashayam takes its name from its two lead ingredients — Kana (Pippali) and Sathahwa (Dill) — combined with a further blend of warming, carminative herbs including Garlic, Sesame, and Horse Gram. Together, this decoction has traditionally been used to settle the digestive fire, ease trapped gas, and relieve the abdominal discomfort that follows poor digestion.
