Vaidyaratnam Kolakulathadi Choornam
100 Gm
A classical herbal powder for external use, traditionally used in Udvartana, Lepa, and Potali Sweda for joint comfort
Kolakulathadi Choornam is a classical Ayurvedic powder for external application, described in the Ashtanga Hridayam and rooted in the Charaka Samhita. It is named after its first ingredients, Kola (jujube fruit) and Kulatha (horse gram), and blends 14 traditional herbs, grains and seeds in equal parts, including Devadaru, Yava (barley), Satapushpa, Atasi (flaxseed), Vacha, Kushta, Rasna, Tila (sesame), Sarshapa (mustard) and Eranda (castor seed). In Ayurvedic tradition, this warming, Vata-balancing powder is used for Udvartana (dry powder massage), for Lepa (herbal paste) and for Potali Sweda (warm herbal bundle fomentation), to support comfort in stiff, aching joints and muscles. Prepared by Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, a trusted name in Kerala Ayurveda since 1941, this choornam is for external use only. This pack contains 100 g of fine powder.
