Lodhradi Kashayam takes its name from Lodhra, the astringent tree bark Ayurveda has long relied on to help control excessive bleeding and discharge. Built around a blend of astringent barks — including Ashoka, Palasha, Katphala, and Mocha, alongside Lodhra itself — this decoction has traditionally been used to pacify aggravated Pitta and support the body's natural ability to check heavy or irregular bleeding, most notably in gynaecological complaints like menorrhagia and leucorrhea.
