Vaidyaratnam Nisamalaka Choornam
100 Gm
A classical two-herb powder of Turmeric and Amla, traditionally used to support healthy metabolism and blood sugar balance

Nisamalaka Choornam, also known as Nishamalakadi Churna, is a simple and well-known classical Ayurvedic powder from the Ashtanga Hridayam. Its name comes from its two ingredients, Nisa (Haridra, turmeric) and Amalaka (Amalaki, Indian gooseberry), combined in equal parts. In Ayurvedic tradition, this pairing is valued for balancing Pitta and Kapha, and it is used as a support for healthy metabolism and for Prameha, the group of conditions that includes diabetes mellitus. Turmeric and amla are also widely appreciated as antioxidant-rich herbs that support skin clarity, digestion and overall wellbeing. Prepared by Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, a trusted name in Kerala Ayurveda since 1941, this choornam can be taken with a suitable adjuvant or as a hot infusion. This pack contains 100 g of fine powder.
