Varanadi Kashaya Gulika is the tablet form of Varanadi Kashayam, a classical Ayurvedic formula named after its principal herb, Varana (Crataeva), and described in classical texts including the Ashtanga Hridayam. It combines Varana with Chitraka, Bilva, Brihati, Haritaki, Agnimantha, Shatavari and other herbs that are valued in Ayurveda for pacifying aggravated Kapha, kindling digestion and supporting healthy fat metabolism. The tablet form is easy to carry and take, and needs no measuring or preparation. Prepared by Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, the Kerala Ayurvedic house established in 1941, this bottle contains 100 tablets.

Ayurvedic Perspective
According to Ayurvedic principles, excess weight, heaviness and sluggish digestion arise when aggravated Kapha and weakened digestive fire allow Meda (fat tissue) and Ama (metabolic waste) to accumulate. Varanadi is one of the foremost classical formulas for this state. Varana and Chitraka are warming and fat-reducing, Bilva, Haritaki and Agnimantha kindle digestion and clear Kapha, and Shatavari and Bhadra keep the formula balanced and supportive of the tissues. Directions for Use
