Curcuma Amda is found in some parts of India, such as Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, South India, and Gujarat. The root is large, with thick, cylindrical, ellipsoid, and pale yellow tubes inside. It resembles regular ginger but lacks the sharpness and instead has the taste of raw mango.
