How to Apply Fill a bowl halfway with Kerala Ayurveda Balaswagandhadi Thailam. Sit comfortably on a non-slippery surface and apply gently over your entire body. Allow your skin to absorb the oil by gently massaging it in slow, circular motions. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Warm the oil before applying it for the best results. Put the bowl in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes, or until it is comfortably warm. Massage the affected areas after performing a patch test on the wrist to ensure the oil is not too hot.
