Mahathikthakam Gh. Ointment is the external, topical-application form of Mahatiktaka Ghrita, one of Ayurveda's most respected "bitter ghee" preparations, traditionally made by cooking a wide blend of bitter, astringent, and detoxifying herbs into a base of cow's ghee. While Mahatiktaka Ghrita is more commonly taken internally as a Pitta-pacifying, blood-purifying tonic, this ointment brings the same herb-infused ghee directly to the skin, making it a long-standing choice for stubborn, Pitta-type skin conditions.
